Pediatric Advanced Life Support

We are pleased to be able to offer PALS courses for physicians and nurses who would like to better serve their pediatric patients.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is an evidence-based, two day, hands-on training program certified by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (www.heartandstroke.mb.ca)

The program teaches health care professionals how to:

• Systemically evaluate seriously or critically ill children
• Identify and categorize life-threatening disease processes into definable categories
• Prioritize problems and initiate life saving treatments
